As 2025 comes to a close, I am naturally reflecting—not just on accomplishments, but on endurance. This year asked more of me than I expected. It stretched me emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and professionally. There were moments of uncertainty, exhaustion, and self-doubt, but there were also moments of clarity, courage, and deep growth.
This year, I balanced many roles at once: community leader, doctoral student, wife, mother, author, and community advocate. I navigated the weight of responsibility that comes with serving others while still trying to honor my own well-being. There were days when progress felt slow and nights when rest felt out of reach. Yet, even in those moments, I kept moving forward—sometimes boldly, sometimes quietly, but always with intention.
I was reminded that growth often happens in uncomfortable spaces—when plans shift, timelines stretch, and resilience becomes a daily practice rather than a concept.
Most importantly, I leaned in more and found myself depending more on Jesus. Through every open door, every delay, every lesson, and every unexpected blessing, I give all the glory to my Lord and Savior. When I felt overwhelmed, He strengthened me (2 Corinthians 12:9). When I questioned my direction, He guided me (Proverbs 3:5-6). When I doubted my capacity, He reminded me of my purpose (Ephesians 2:10). This year reaffirmed my faith—not just in words, but in action, trust, and surrender.
I am closing 2025 with gratitude—for the lessons learned, the challenges overcome, and the growth I didn’t always recognize in the moment. Every step forward, mattered.
I pray to enter 2026 with humility, faith, and hope. I trust that what lies ahead is already ordered, and I remain committed to walking boldly in purpose, and anchored in faith.
In Jesus name, I pray and declare. Amen.
